Yanez Farms is a small farm focused on
diversification and raising healthy Corriedale
sheep.
Sheep and Fiber
We are working toward having one specific breed
and it is Corriedale. It will be just a flock for fiber
artists. The purpose for selling the wool to
spinners and felters. If you are interested in

We have a small fiber mill on the farm,where
we do the wool processing ourselves. It is more like we do specialty work
it is all done by hand. We take great pride in our work we do all the skirting,
washing, picking, and carding the old fashion way by hand. None of my
carding equipment is motorized it is all done by hand and great care is taken to
insure the best quality in the finished product. And if you prefer I can
even hand spin the fiber into yarn for you. I have 3 spinning wheels
on the farm two of them are electric and one is treadle. We also sell hand spun
yarn for your knitting, crocheting or weaving projects. We also can dye your
fiber using the dye Greener Shades it is environmentally safe and contains no
heavy metals in the dye compounds. Take a look at our blog page on this

in the color wheel.
We raise Corriedale sheep for the wool for any of the fiber artists needs.
Such as spinning,needle felting, wet felting or anything else you can think
up to use fiber for. So be creative and let your imagination go and see where
